 Dr. Tonya R. Strozier

I’m Dr. Tonya Strozier, an educator, leader, and advocate dedicated to creating transformative solutions in education. My work is deeply rooted in my own journey—one shaped by challenges, resilience, and a relentless drive to ensure every child has access to the opportunities they deserve.

As a child, I struggled to read, and it wasn’t until nearly the fourth grade that I fully unlocked the world of literacy. That experience gave me compassion for students who face barriers and a passion for helping them thrive. It also taught me that every learner’s potential is worth fighting for. That personal struggle became the foundation of my career as an educator, school leader, and educational consultant.

My "why" is simple yet profound: I believe in building schools and systems where all children—especially Black and Brown girls—are empowered to be seen, valued, and successful. That’s why I’ve poured my heart into developing solutions that address the real needs of students, families, and educators.

Through TRS Educational Consulting, I’ve created a hub of innovative programs that reflect my commitment to equity, wellness, and transformative leadership:

• Black and Brown Girl Wellness, where we empower young girls to embrace their full potential.

• Ubuntu Academy for Girls, a micro-school rooted in love, STEM, and cultural empowerment.

• Design Your School, a book and course that guide school leaders in creating heart-centered, equity-driven spaces.

• Quick Lit, a powerful method to help doctoral students master the art of literature reviews through courses and writing intensives.

• Caliber, where I equip aspiring micro-school founders with the tools and services to launch successful, student-centered schools.

Every solution I create stems from a desire to disrupt inequities, nurture talent, and design systems that inspire and empower. I’ve seen the transformative power of love, intentionality, and innovation in education, and I’m committed to sharing that with others.

When I work with school leaders, educators, and students, my goal is not just to solve problems but to create lasting change—change that uplifts communities and transforms lives. This is my purpose, my passion, and the legacy I hope to leave.
